Terms of Use

The rules of the road
for this website.

These Terms cover zeblade.com — our marketing site. Plain language, no dark patterns, scoped to what the site actually does. The Zeblade GRC Portal has its own separate terms.

Draft

This Terms of Use is a working draft. It accurately describes the terms under which you may access and use zeblade.com, but it has not yet been reviewed by counsel. The final version will be published before Zeblade is generally available. Feedback welcome at [email protected].

Scope

What this covers.

This Terms of Use ("Terms") governs your access to and use of zeblade.com — the marketing website operated by Zeblade Security Group LLC ("Zeblade," "we," "us," "our"), a company registered in Texas, United States.

These Terms cover the marketing site only. They do not cover the Zeblade GRC Portal (*.zeblade.io), which is the production platform our customers log into. The platform is governed by a separate Terms of Service and Master Subscription Agreement executed at the start of an engagement.

By accessing zeblade.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Audience

Who this site is for.

Zeblade is a business-to-business platform. The marketing site and all content on it are intended for security and compliance professionals evaluating GRC solutions for their organizations — not for individual consumers, and not for anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this site.

Permitted use

What you can do on the site.

zeblade.com is an informational marketing site. There are no user accounts, no login, and no subscription management here. You can:

  • Browse. Read about our products, approach, and capabilities.
  • Submit the contact form. Send us your name, email, organization, and a message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry, as described in our Privacy Notice.
  • Talk to Piper. Piper is the chat assistant in the bottom-right corner of the site, powered by Claude Haiku via Anthropic's API. Conversations are stored only in your browser's sessionStorage — never on our servers. When you close the tab, the conversation is gone. Details are in the Privacy Notice.

That is the full scope of interactivity on this site.

Our content

Intellectual property.

All content on zeblade.com — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, screenshots, page layouts, the Zeblade name and logo, and the names Beacon, Compass, Pulse, and Piper — is owned by or licensed to Zeblade Security Group LLC and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content from this site without our prior written permission, except for the following:

  • You may share links to any page on zeblade.com.
  • You may print or save individual pages for your own internal evaluation of our products.
  • You may reference or quote brief excerpts for the purpose of commentary, review, or reporting, with appropriate attribution.

If you want to use our content in a way not covered above, email [email protected].

Prohibited conduct

What you should not do.

When using zeblade.com, you agree not to:

  • Use any automated tool (bot, scraper, spider, or similar) to access the site or collect content from it, unless you are operating a standard search engine crawler that respects our robots.txt.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site or any related infrastructure, or attempt to breach any security or authentication measures.
  • Transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code through the contact form, Piper, or any other mechanism.
  • Submit false, misleading, or spam content through the contact form.
  • Use Piper to attempt to extract system prompts, circumvent safety measures, generate harmful content, or for any purpose other than learning about Zeblade's products and capabilities.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, when submitting the contact form or using Piper.
  • Use the site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.

About Piper

Piper (chat assistant).

Piper is an AI-powered chat assistant designed to answer questions about Zeblade's products and approach. A few things to understand about Piper:

Piper is not a compliance advisor.
Piper can explain what Zeblade does and how our platform works, but nothing Piper says constitutes legal, regulatory, audit, or professional compliance advice. Do not rely on Piper's responses for compliance decisions.
Piper uses Anthropic's API.
When you send a message, it is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use API traffic to train its models by default. See our Privacy Notice for full details.
Piper may be wrong.
AI models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. We have implemented guardrails, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of any response Piper generates.
Do not send sensitive data to Piper.
Do not include Protected Health Information (PHI), Social Security numbers, passwords, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information in your messages to Piper. If you do, you assume all responsibility. We will not be liable for any consequences.

No advice given

Not compliance advice.

Everything on zeblade.com — including product descriptions, framework references, blog posts, case studies, and Piper's responses — is provided for informational and marketing purposes only.

Nothing on this site constitutes legal, regulatory, audit, or professional compliance advice. References to HIPAA, NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any other framework or regulation are descriptions of what our platform supports, not legal guidance on how to comply. Compliance is specific to your organization, your data, your risk profile, and your regulatory environment. Consult a qualified attorney, auditor, or compliance professional for that.

External resources

Third-party links.

zeblade.com may contain links to third-party websites, including framework publications (NIST, ISO), regulatory resources, and industry references. These links are provided for convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site. Visiting a third-party link is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

Disclaimer

As-is, as-available.

Limitation of liability

Liability ceiling.

Privacy

Incorporated by reference.

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The short version: no third-party trackers, minimum data collection, no selling or profiling. Read the full notice for details.

Governing law

Texas law applies.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of zeblade.com shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes

If we update these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects when. For material changes, we will update the date and, where practical, note what changed. Your continued use of zeblade.com after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The platform is separate

Different scope, different terms.

If you are evaluating or purchasing the Zeblade GRC Portal, the platform is governed by a separate Terms of Service and, where applicable, a Master Subscription Agreement and Data Processing Addendum executed at the start of an engagement. These website Terms of Use do not apply to the platform, and the platform's terms do not apply to this marketing site.
